Meledam Narayanan was born on May 16, 1973. When he was at the age of 8, started learning 'Carnatic' music under Mr. A.Sahadevan. After 5 years he learned Kathakali Music from Palanad Divakaran for 7 years and then continued under Kalamandalam Sankaran Embranthiri for 5 years.
